The tentative date for the fulfillment of the undertaken project is 7th October 2021. Any change in the date will be intimated accordingly. Sahajia has already undertaken the project of helping Yaas affected Patibuniya. It is the second phase of the project where the women in need( Aged 40 and above) of that particular area would be given fresh new clothes, keeping in mind the significance of the Grand festival of Bengalees, the Durga Puja. Do please donate freely so that these women get some upliftment to fulfill the needs of themselves and that of their families. Production of the compressed disposable plates made from eco friendly betel nut leaves will be the current mode of employment for these women.
Sahajia’s mission for empowerment of the women of the Sundarbans is getting momentum.
Event Mission
Woman is always at par with the mother nature. To keep balance in the mangrove infested Sundarbans ( mangrove is declining in numbers as fast as that of the bio diversity of the Sundarbans), the women of the land should be given a fair chance to keep balance in the family, where the male members often lose their lives as they risk the same in pursuit of honey and wood.
Event Vision
After the destructive cyclonic storm Yaas, Sundarbans has suffered much. Its destitute is not yet over. Sahajia is trying her best to give Patibuniya (Sundarbans) a life to mve on.
