The first journey was to Sandeshkhali, where cyclone victims were supplied with food and wearables. After that the team visited Hingalgunge where people were not only given food but also livelihood support in forms of vermiform compost, fish food and saplings. The team stood by acid attack victims, orphans , gave aids to the street beggars of Kolkata , went to Surjyopur, Kashinagar for relief work and is now planning to set a homeopathic hospital at Surjapur.
Sahajia has its root in the team “Kichhu Kori Cholo” ( Let’s do something). Its members are growing in numbers and the organisation is getting its pace rapidly.
